Early Childhood

Kehillah Early Learning Center has been providing high quality early childhood education programs at our congregation since 1987. Due to its popularity, it has grown from a center enrolling three and four year olds on a half day basis to a center enrolling children six weeks – five years (with a capacity enrollment of 106). This center is operated by Federation Early Learning Services (FELS), specialists in infant, toddler, preschool and school age programs throughout the Delaware Valley and proudly Celebrating 100 Years of Caring for Children and Strengthening Families.

Kehillah is part of the Keystone Stars Quality Initiative. This group evaluates the quality of an early learning program using a variety of criteria (quality of staff, programs, environment, administrative and fiscal stability, etc.) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. On the national level, Kehillah has earned NAEYC accreditation, which means that it has met the most rigorous standards and has earned this prestigious accreditation. Only 8% of all early childhood programs in the United States have achieved this highly regarded designation. Each of these organizations is the gold standard for early childhood programs on the state and national levels respectively.
