Shana Tovah U’metukah –
A Happy, Healthy, and Sweet New Year to you all!
Once again, the High Holiday sermons at Ohev Shalom are all linked together by a common theme. Each one can be heard separately, but together they also form a unit, this year centered on one word: Sustainability. These days, you might hear the word ‘Sustainability’ used everywhere, but it can mean so much more than you might think. It affects our personal lives, our families, our communities, and the entire world. At this Season of Reflection and Change, it’s time to look at ourselves and our society in a new way, and that’s just what we’re doing at Ohev Shalom!
In case you missed the Rosh Hashanah sermons, or if you want to hear them again, or if you’re just curious what Rabbi Gerber looks like on video, here are his Rosh Hashanah sermons. We don’t use a camera on the High Holidays, so these videos were instead filmed in the rabbi’s office. Feedback, comments, and questions (as always) are welcomed and appreciated! Happy New Year!
